Welcome to Relate Me, an adults-only social app designed to help you connect with people around you through real-time, map-based interactions. Your privacy matters to us, and we are committed to handling your information responsibly, transparently, and securely.
Relate Me is strictly for adults aged 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors and do not permit minors to use the Service. If we learn that a minor has created an account, it will be deleted immediately.
Relate Me does not share your location by default. Users must manually opt in by tapping “Go Visible for Hugs” inside the app. When visible, your device shares your approximate location with other visible users through secure, real-time WebSocket communication.
Your visibility automatically ends when you close the app, background it for an extended period, or manually turn visibility off. To maintain a consistent user experience and prevent stale or misleading map data, your last known visible location is kept temporarily for up to 120 minutes after your session ends, after which it is permanently deleted .
Relate Me does not collect background location data, does not track your device when you are not actively visible, and does not maintain historical location logs.
Live location data is used only while you are actively visible in the app and is automatically discarded when your session ends. We do not permanently store, archive, or build profiles from your location history.
We collect limited technical data to keep the app functioning smoothly:
Relate Me uses Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers or contextual usage data to serve compliant ads. We do not share your profile details with advertisers and do not sell user data.
Location data: Deleted immediately upon ending visibility.
Profile data: Stored as long as your account remains active.
Crash logs / analytics: Retained only as necessary for performance and debugging.
You can delete your account at any time from within the Relate Me app. Once deleted, your profile and associated data are permanently removed from our systems, except where limited retention is required by law (e.g., fraud or safety reports).
Relate Me is intended exclusively for adults 18+. We do not allow minors to use the platform and do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us so we can remove it promptly.
